IN THE BEGINNING

As a young boy, driven by his fathers passion for racing and the love of  sports cars, Stuart was exposed to the exhilarating & competitive world of Racing, predominately in the Aston Martin arena where his father had a successful career. This early introduction to the automotive world was the precursor that sparked the drive and determination integral to the very DNA that forms Autovogue today.

 
 

THE EARLY YEARS

After studying business and a successful career in Automotive Store design & management, Stuart decided to take the leap into starting his own automotive business with a keen car guy and good friend Richard.

 
 

Initially created around sourcing & retailing Sports & Hot hatchback cars of the “80s” such as the VW Golf GTi’, RS Ford, Audi Quattro & Sporting BMW's of the day, Stuart pushed forwards building relationships, making contacts & broadening trade networks, of whom many remain to this day.

 
 

Working with a Northern based company who lightly enhanced the factory BMW E30 Stuart saw an opportunity
to develop and expand this business model to a range of his own cars.
In its infancy a limited run of 1.8 litre M-sport cars where produced, focused towards young clientele who struggled to insure the larger 2.5 litre engines, yet yearned for something that looked special, thus forming the foundation of the company.

 
 

The business accelerated at such a rate that converting cars purely for sale was soon matched by customers booking their own vehicles for Autovogue conversion. This forced Stuart to establish the first incarnation of "The Autovogue Conversion Centre" with the help of a good friend who worked at a BMW approved bodyshop in the day.
